Here it is Forbes’ new best-paid actor list, covering June 1, 2007 to June 1, 2008.
Will Smith ranked first with $80 million, Johnny Depp with $74 and Eddie Murphy with $55. He tied with Mike Myers, who also made $55 million. Others rounding out the top 10: Leonardo DiCaprio, Bruce Willis, Ben Stiller, Nicolas Cage, Will Ferrell, and Adam Sandler.
And, notes Forbes, men are still making more than women. Collectively, the big screen’s leading men took home an estimated $487 million in the past year compared with the leading ladies’ haul of $244.5 million.
